THE CHALLENGE

Williams-Sonoma needed a designer who could take beloved, tightly controlled licensed properties — Harry Potter, celebrity-created artwork with No Kid Hungry, American Girl — and translate them faithfully onto silicone kitchenware without losing brand integrity or production accuracy. Each program came with its own licensor standards, unique creative constraints, and a physical product that had to perform as well as it looked.

THE SOLUTION

Across three distinct programs, I served as the bridge between licensor guidelines and manufacturable product design. I developed house-specific colorways and graphic systems for silicone spatulas and flex turners. I translated hand-drawn artwork from celebrities into production-ready files, maintaining each artist's original energy while meeting tight print and material specifications. I created a suite of charming, seasonally themed icons sized and structured for functional cookie-cutter production.

THE OUTCOME

Products shipped to Williams-Sonoma retail and e-commerce, appearing in seasonal campaigns and gift collections. The Harry Potter line became a standout in their licensed kitchenware assortment. The No Kid Hungry spatulas raised funds for childhood hunger while putting recognizable celebrity personalities in customers' kitchens. The American Girl stamps added a playful, on-brand baking experience to a beloved children's franchise.
